This understated guitar is built for speed and metal. The slimline body is constructed from three separate book-matched layers of local elm and Ash, carved in a contemporary dual-horned shape. The neck of Elm is fitted with a double action truss rod, which is covered with a magnetised access cover. A graphite nut and modern machine heads ensure tuning is hassle free, and holds firm. A mahogany fretboard is complemented with abalone inlay dots and bound with laminated maple.
The hipshot style hardtail bridge provides ample adjustment and stability.
Custom made mahogany rings house the double humbucker pickups from Wilkinson which provide plenty of bang for their buck. The control layout includes two volume, one tone, and a 3 way selector. This allows this instrument to swing from surprisingly stratty tones to deep, bassy lows while handling all the gain you could want.
Aristaeus is finished with penetrating oils and waxes and is polished to a satin finish.
Sounds like: Rough honey. Twin humbuckers can swing from light Jazz to grimy Blues in an instant. Humbuckers retain less high and low end in comparison to P90s, but the lack of hum/buzz means they can handle a lot more gain.
Please note that due to the nature of the materials we use, wood grains, colours and shapes may have variations from the pictures included.
