1 in 4 people will suffer from poor mental health during their lifetime. Your mental and emotional well-being is just as important as your physical health.
It's an issue close to my heart as I have suffered a very difficult period in the past. If it were not for access to mental health practitioners I may not be here today.
Mind is a powerful charity that has helped millions of people get access to the help they need, with the respect they deserve. You can learn more about the charity at www.mind.org.uk.
All entries will be reviewed by a panel and finalists will be shortlisted. The top three will be determined by popular vote online and across social media.
1st place will receive a 25% voucher towards their own custom guitar build (worth up to £750!) with Whispersmith.co.uk and will be invited to sign the finished guitar as its designer, prior to the auction.
2nd place will receive a 10% Whispersmith Voucher worth up to £300.
3rd place will receive a hand-made leather guitar strap worth £100.
The competition will close to all entries and submissions at 6pm on Sunday the 26th of November, at the close of the Merseyside Guitar show at Aintree.
The design must be a solid, or semi-hollow-bodied electric guitar. No illegal or pornographic imagery will be permitted. Other than that, let your imaginations go wild!
Entries with restricted features will not be refunded.
Whispersmith reserves the right to make changes appropriate to the practicality of a build but only so far as to make the impossible possible.
Ownership of the design and rights to its use will remain with the competition winner, with WhisperSmith retaining ownership of the completed guitar until its auction.
