This example features a Viking themed aesthetic and is manufactured from locally sourced and reclaimed materials.
The body of Ash is carved with a symmetrical Celtic braid and shaped with asymmetrical horns that are inspired by both the Gibson SG and a dual-headed battle axe!
The body features several decorations carved from reclaimed mahogany. The rear Tree-of-life is a magnetised cover for the through-body string access. Another magnetised carving covers the access to the double action truss rod. The Hipshot style bridge is fitted with it's own decorative platform.
The headstock is fitted with an Elm veneer and minimalistic, vintage style machine heads.
The mahogany fretboard is bound in faux-ivory and is inlaid with abalone dots. A bone nut supports the Elixir nanoweb strings. The instrument is finished with penetrating oils with a bare wood feel finish.
Double soap bar P90 pickups from Wilkinson with a single volume, single tone, and 3 way selector create an uncompromising and versatile sound that's well suited to blues, rock, and country.
Sounds like: Petrichor. P90 pickups cover more of the audio spectrum than humbuckers so sound cleaner and lighter than Humbuckers. They retain a hot buzz that makes them responsive, but go easy on the gain.
